I had a few drops of water run down the pump control cable and apparently into my controller. I opened it up, blew out the controller with my air compressor and cleaned everything. The controller worked fine for a couple hours, but now will not light up and wont connect to my computer through the usb cable. What are the odds it can be repaired?

What you can do was place it in a container of rice, so all of the moisture is gone.

Not sure about now, but you can try to leave it in the container of rice for a day or 2, to confirm moisture has complete evaporated.

It'll only short circuit if there's residue or water that remains on the circuit board.
