Fighting clowns

I got a pair of platinums a few months back over the last couple month they have started fighting. I guessing the more mature clown is picking on the other clown and just want chill. Im thinking the one is more mature due to it having more black starting to show the other has very little black. What should I do?

I honestly dont think they are fighting.What alot of people know realise is,they will not stop fighting,they will non stop fight will one is dead of both are femal.Honestly,I think its part of the paring process,give it some time.

what exactly are they doing? females are sometimes aggresive towards other females, if this is the case and they are young enough the less dominent one should be able to convert to a male. leaving you with a mated pair, and then it will stop and calm down.

atleast this is what i have understood in the reading i have done, my mated pair always messed with each other but never really fought. im sure someoen else will pipe in on this

Well at 1st I thought it was part of the pairing process and still might be but they lock jaws daily and the one chases the other none stop. Ive paired others and never had this much of a prob

were they sold to you as a mated pair? or had they just recently been put together and sold as a pair? sounds like they are not MATED up, like i said if they are young enough one will convert to be oppisite the other they are all born female, and then one converts to male so to be able to breed, thus giving you a mated pair. exactly how long have you had them and how long has this been goign on? where did you get them from?

No they where not a mated pair they are still juveniles. They came from my LFS that got them from a wholeseller. Ive had they maybe 4 months 1st month in OT no problems and few weeks after they where put in there new home they started.
