FijiCube 38G Penisula Build And Information

Hey guys, not sure if this is the right place to post this but hopefully it is .

I will be doing transfer from my WB20 to Fijicube 38g penisula tank and wanted to share some things about the product since there is not much information about these tanks that i could find. Specially the stand part.

First of all tank and stand i purchased directly from Fijicube during ongoing sale .

Unfortunately tank came cracked on the overflow wall put it seem to be a mishandling issue with the carrier from the delivery pictures and videos looked like the directions on the box that this is a fragile item weren't followed lightly put it.

Wont be blasting the carrier but it doesn't take much effort to read instructions.

Anyway i am being in contact with Fijicube and no questions asked they will be sending me a new tank .

They made some updates to the tank as far i could see, overflow wall being glass instead previously acrylic that is a bonus i would say.

Stand in particular, looks like that is the part that folks seem to be avoiding from this company.
This is being my first experience with Fijicube so dont have a long term opinion other than documenting what is happening now and the future.

Base and the frame is made from aluminum and the outside walls and door are looks like similar to Waterbox that wooden boards material.
But i was pleasantly surprised that it was an actual aluminum frame because my WB20 is all that wooden board material.

Stainless steel hinges and adjustable feet although tanks is not filled with water obviously looks like there shouldn't be any issues. Although it is not a top notch quality i am not sure if you can score something much better for the price without building it yourself.

I will post some pictures and can do so in the future with my whole process if there is someone that is interested in it.

Update.
Second tank arrived broken also, in pretty much the same spot . Looks like it is a weak area on these tanks. Although again after video of the delivery by fedex directions that this is a fragile item weren't followed.

Waiting for Fiji CS to figure out what to do next, i wonder if a switch to Fijicube will happen at this point .

That's too bad! I had this exact same tank and it arrived broken too, not in that spot though. They sent me a new one immediately and it was good. I used an Oase canister filter routed thru the filter compartment and tank ran incredibly well.

Looks like the improved the stand a ton! Mine was just like waterbox, the particle board no aluminum.

Yes i really like the look of this tank, and actually everything else i am happy with. Got everything going for a swap after Thanksgiving.

Lisa fron their sales department is very communicative and helpful.

I am pretty sure if fedex would just lay the tank flat like its supposed to and use a hand truck and place the tank on the ground without dropping it right front of my door vertically it would be fine. Although it might have been broken somewhere along the route.

Actually another update .

Just now got another email from Fiji and they said they want me to have a nice tank and will ship another one via freight on a pallet . I said go for it i still want this tank. So fingers crossed.

This is very good sample not just of the product but also customer service.

Not that i know of, although there could be some negative like algea getting a hold of easily due to very pourus state of the dead coral skeleton.

But i am not concerned too much with this .

It is my first time using it, heard good things about it i like the look and benefits it could bring so. I guess i will find out on my own if it works out.
