Hello Everyone,
My File fish who has been in QT since 3/29/24 still has Lymphocystis showing.
He began to show signs on 4/15/24.
Finished 30 days of Copper Power at 2.35ppm on 4/30/24. Also dosed Artemis Microbe Lift for 10 days.
I'm on my first dose of Prazi now.
He Seems to be a rather healthy fish other than this.
He eats very well. Swims around nicely. Comes up to see me when I approach the tank.

Question- Now that I'm approaching the end of QT would it be OK for me to put him in the DT?

QT - 40g breeder, cycled, ammonia badge reads clean. Other fish in there are super healthy and lively.
Last WC was 3/4 on 4/30/34.

Does look like lymphocystis however pic not the clearest and I wonder if there is ich mixed in
Lympho is a condition and not a disease and often triggered by water quality issues and poor diet
Can you post a you tube video?

Sure, I can post one this evening.
In the mean time, here's a couple more pics from last night.
The forum degrades the quality of the photos quite a bit.
Also, he was in QT with copper for a little over 2 weeks even after this appeared.

Filefish have so many spots and protuberances that it is difficult to tell what’s normal and what’s a disease.

Lymphocystis is a self-limiting viral disease of newly acquired fish. I’ve never had it transfer over to older, established fish.

Thanks Jay,
Wow I had no idea they had these tendencies.
I've experienced Ich in the past and can say that these spots on the fish are much larger and have not multiplied much at all in the last 2 weeks.
