I've never had too much luck with zoas in my LPS system, I have one wild rock that hasn't really grown much in the 8 or so months I had it, some of the polyps were looking shriveled but I assume that's due to them being shaded by other polyps, then I see this film on those particular ones, almost looks like a leather shed but I've never seen this on a zoa, any ideas?

The stalks near the bottom, closed up as it's currently night. @encrustingacro @ISpeakForTheSeas any ideas? Yes I know they're stretching but there really isnt anywhere else I can put them and my system is low-moderate light

Yeah, definitely not my area of expertise, but it looks like it's just generally unhealthy with the lack of light to me.

too low light; Zoanthus are very shallow-water animals, so they will like higher light. My zoas also tend to shrink when my nutrients go up, so also look for that.

I'll break off the tip with the shriveled polyps and find a place with some better light
