I'm interested in getting a filter roller for my Reefer 350 sump to cut down on changing socks/floss. I have an older version of the sump - either the V1 or V2 not really sure. From what I've researched, there are not many options aside from removing the baffle from the overflow section in the sump and installing the roller filter directly to plumbing. I'd like to avoid this if possible. Aquamaxx came out with one that was designed specifically for the Reefer 170 sump. Does anyone know if this will work in the 350 filter sock holders, or if there is another filter roller out there that will work?

Bump. Really would like to toss the filter socks for one of these. I have seen 3D printed brackets for the reefer 170, though that is only a single sock holder instead of the 2 the reefer 350 has.

I would like to do this, but I would need to pull my sump offline do it and put it back. How long did it take you to cut out the baffles?

It was done while the tank was getting set up so the sump was not even installed. I done remember how long but was no easy task.

I ended up taking a blade to the red sea sock holder to fit the klir bracket. It works well enough and saved me from spending $50 on another piece of plastic. I run a filter cup in the other sock holder
