Filter sock question.

This is the best picture I have right now:

But I am wanting to put a filter sock here, but with the way the sump is built I can't hang a mount on the glass off the plastic divider. I have tried three different mounts. I'm hoping someone has a suggestion, or some type of way I can insert a filter sock holder here. Thanks again!

PVC or eggcrate.

Tons of examples if you do a google image search for "diy filter sock holder".

Here are a couple simple ways. The 1st picture is acrylic knobs glued on with e6000. VERY strong bond. I make my own socks but even store bought socks have either a plastic tab inside or some sort of fabric string which you could attach something clothesline or rope to to hang them. The second picture is a simple dowel draped over the tank again with cord looped on it
