I should receive my Waterbox 50.3 on Saturday and just trying to get things coming my way. I went to order the inTank media caddy today and realized the company must be out of business (no inventory of anything on any site). I don’t want to use the filter socks and had planned to do filter floss / sponges, chemical and organic filtration with two media baskets. I can’t find another company that makes them other than printed reed, but I haven’t found a single review anywhere of them.

What options do I have to eliminate the filter socks on day 1? Any alternative caddy? I saw cups on kraken, but that doesn’t seem adequate compared to the basket.

Yes, these are the ones I mentioned, but I can’t find a Reddit, YouTube or reef2reef review / feedback on them. All posts reference the inTank

Regarding InTank, I had the same worry about them being out of business. I mentioned this in a post on another forum and got the response below from them last week. Their whole inventory is on their eBay store at the moment, and I was able to get a filtration cover for my Waterbox 50.3.

Here's the message I got:

inTank has been re-structured and is now under new ownership. I was with inTank for 6+ years, now running it.

We will have a new E-commerce store up very soon @ fivestaraquatics.com and for now, we do have an Ebay Store up and running with ALL inTank products available for immediate sale and shipment. Take a look and give us a shout if you have any questions.
