Good morning Reef2Reef members I need some help on filtering and water changes I have a 65 gallon peninsula saltwater tank with 15 Gallin sump I'm running a reef octopus 110 and using Marine pure for my filtration I'm going to install a carbon reactor and uv sterilizer. I wanted to know if anyone of you guys out there are using refugium and biological together for your filter system I like making my own water and I use reef crystals is this the best way go. I built the stand and had the tank custom made with star fire glass 1/2 I would love your inputs on running a healthy tank.

Thanks guys

Thanks

Looks pretty healthy already IMO... I wouldn't go changing a lot if it's working :)

FWIW I run a refuge, biopellets, GFO and carbon... and a UV... I have some pretty big and messy fish tho :)
