Had four btas in my DT and not surprisingly they didn’t take to any. Wasn’t too upset as this wasn’t the btas final home but was curious to see the symbiotic relationship in real life. So with my new sump upgrade i took the anemones from bowls to one of those 10x10 baskets from home depot and threw in the female just to see what happens. Success! Truly a sight to see even my mom was ecstatic. It’s a shame the clown is going back up to the DT eventually.
I’ll include a vid below

Its a pretty good day when that finally happens. Then you realLIZE they never leave which also is a bummer!

This is interesting - I am wondering if flow somehow impacts hosting.

My clown would never go to my anemone, it always stayed in the corner. One day, when the anemone was out front, I decided to cut my wavemaker for a couple hours and dialed my return pump way back. The clown ended up going right into the anemone.

I think they prefer to host when there is lower flow and they are able to spend less energy swimming.
