Hey guys been busy with work here . I finally got the stand frame ready last week and today I'm starting the plumbing. I'm starting with a jebao mdp 10000. And back up I have a old custom aquatic pump. For reactor it's a old redline. And I just received my ice cap k1 200 skimmer. I've been so excited. I'm dry fitting the piping today and posting any Imput or ideas or help please be free to criticize this is my first big tank and I'm extremely nervous .

Recommend having caps to put on unused outlets if they are under the sump. Water tends to find its way everywhere LOL
Oh yes deff lol still have to plumb the return side had to run to home Depot to get more pipe and fittings and I think I'm going to need. I've never been so excited but so nervous at the same time hoping I don't mess something up

Can’t tell from the pictures, but will there be a few inches of space between the pump and the back sump wall? If the pump is touching the wall, you may get vibration noises

So there is about 3" from the wall or 2x4 should I move it more too?
As long as it’s clear from touching a sidewalk you should be good.

Have you done a full count of plugs? I didn’t realize how many I really needed (lights, skimmer, pumps, heaters, fans, dosers, uv, etc.

I have to do a count today I haven't learned about dosers yet and the uv. I'm going to watch some videos to see I think I'm at 8 or 9 plugs right now

Hey guys so I got the bottom pipes glued and set yesterday . I have to take my other animals to the vet this morning then back to it. Question. So do I glue the out flow pipes in to the over flow bulk heads ? I'm still adjusting the height don't mind the photo of it so high still. Just not Shure on the gluing aspect of this side

I got the lights hanging and everything ready so far. Still waiting for a few things. I'm so stressed over the wires

It sucks beaing so new to something and having a hard time grasping it. But a lot of everyone's posts have helped so much. I'm so greatfull for reef 2 reef
