I don't a bunch of emeralds (6) and sea urchins (9) my clown fish are constantly breeding behind the finger leather I would say it's about the size of a softball

It's dropping babies.
My devils hand used to do that all the time so I got rid of it.

If your talking about the little neon green ball looking things if you have torch’s which it looks like you do it’s probably some of the tips of those that have dropped off either by fish or getting bumped

I’ve got a large finger leather and a large devils hand that both drop pieces. Don’t be worried. I give them to other hobbyists who are glad to get them .

Ok, here is my take. ( I know it don't mean diddly )

On all my neon/non neon green finger leathers, anytime a piece breaks off it's not little round balls. It's usually more of a cylinder shaped piece. Doesn't have to be very long. And usually you can look back at the mother piece and see tiny bits of rot ( usually black) where the pieces broke off.
I have found that in my tanks neon green leathers usually don't "broadcast spawn" ( for lack of a better term) like many devils hand and other brown leathers do.

I get it, everybody's tank conditions are different and I haven't seen every type of green leather there is, but I just haven't seen that type behaviour in my tanks.

What I think it is, is one or more of your euphyllia corals may be losing tips. I have seen that in my tanks before.

I have a green polyp toadstool and it has dropped probably 6 of these tiny green balls, each less than 1mm in size, over the last 3 weeks. This is a relatively small specimen I've only had a little over a month. Stem's about 2" and the cap is about 1" across. Seems very healthy, always has all of its polyps out when the lights are on.

I have not seen anywhere that looks like a place where these have come from, especially not any small black rot spot. Once, I did see what looked like an extremely thin white string or thread about 2 inches long with the green ball on one end and the other connected to the toadstool with the ball drifting wildly in the current and this disappeared in an hour or so, but didn't see it happen.

I have no euphyllia in my tank.
