Fire Coral has spark some interest with me. I'm wondering do people keep it n their aquariums? is it illegal or insanely rare to find. I feel like there's not to much info about it out there so if anyone has any knowledge please enlighten me.

Yeah i can understand why its not popular or even something that is kept in aquariums besides large exhibits. I think there is also a possibility is illegal to keep it in captivity its just hard to find specifics on that. But in my opinion i think it would be neat to have in a tank maybe there is a way to keep that nuisance level growth down.

In the wild fire coral is extremely competitive for space and will often smother other corals and gorgonians in an aggressive manner.

I had a colony years ago. It spread rapidly and they naturally grow up gorgonian skeletons. A shop near me does have a small colony in one of their display tanks.
