How long do they last in an established tank? Or captivity

For me they don't last for a very long time. Altho they seem to adapted well for a longest time but never really made it more than a year.

What are your experiences for those who keep these type of goby.

Around three years has been the average time for me.

Though social in nature, they are pretty intolerant of one another in captivity.

They also don't care too much for larger active fish, as this will cause them to hide.

Ive not had one last longer than 2 years. We have no way of telling age so a lot of times, they maybe past their prime. I've recently switched over to buying smaller fish over trying to buy the biggest in hopes of obtaining youger stock that would last longer.
