Also check the rock nem on the move. That rock nem is a walker! I’m not quite sure why he moves so much all 3 of my other ones stay in the same spot.

Ok thread kinda died but I haven’t completely given up hope yet. New 65 gallon tank has started up. I have a trigger crystal 30 sump under it and I had a hard time plumbing it and getting it quiet and I’m super close now! Lol I got 4 clowns in it soon to have a baby mimic in it. Which I read that the mimic can go in no less than a 35? Besides the point it’s looking pretty good. Next purchase is a reef light and a fuge light and it’ll be good for a few lps

Love these reef breeders power heads too. It was way to powerful for my 40 made it look like a living snow globe. Does good in here. Light is gonna be a hydra 64 kinda concerned with the bar going down the middle but I think I’ll be okay. Enjoying the skimz return pump as well.

I’ve put Saxbys on both my tanks now. 40 gallon is still fallow and 65 is getting more corals in. I’m still thinking mainly lps but I’m wondering if softies would be good too.

Also kind of curious to see what would happen if I put a stick on the highest rock. Never really tried sticks out but I’ve tried a few digis and it never ends well. Think they get too much light with too little flow in my 40.

Here we are again back in the build thread. I added a protein skimmer to the tank the water has almost entirely turned green and the skimmer is getting some real nasty stuff out of it. I’m thinking it’s taking some green out of the water so that’s a plus.

Also my hygger 500 watt heater has pooped the bed on me. Woke up to a taser going off in my room and started freaking out. Open the sump area to my tank and see fire like sparks shooting out of the heater. The room smells like burnt electronics. Fish seemed okay and I’ve replaced the heater with a 500w finnex titanium.
