Hello everyone. Here is my member tank. Sca 120. 4x2x2. Just put in 6 little blue cromies, 10 hermit, 5 nassarius snails and 10 assorted snails. Everyone is doing very well. 4am, 9 hours after I put them in I had my very first snail in basement sump when my emergency drain woke us up. Good news is my drains worked as designed and he is still alive.

Question. Should I leave snail in the sump or put him back in display

Looks like a Nerite snail. Well known as jailbreakers. Itll be fine in the sump.

I gave up on Nerites... got tired of trying to reach them behind my stand and picking them up off the carpet before the dog found a snack.

I repositioned the center a little to add another shelf and a cave. The fish can swim in and around. Fish and crew are doing fantastic so far. Better than expected. They eat a small meal twice a day like piranhas.

I think that snail is a Trochus - they're great algae eaters, but if you haven't got any of that, maybe plunk him down on a coin-sized scrap of nori every other day or so. He's going to want to end up in a place with algae in it, so probably display is better than sump.

Did a little rescape on the right side. Still not totally happy but I have another cave and shelf
