Well the reduced photo period seems to be improving things

Been a little while since I updated this, I ordered a Tanaka Possum Wrasse from a online store near me, on the 15th of October I received my delivery and received a Female Blue Streak Leopard Wrasse, great.

I added her to my Quarantine Tank and observed her closely for a week, I did not see any signs of anything that would cause me concern so I added her to the tank today.

Love watching these three swim and eat

Decided that I would pick up a little runt of a clownfish today, he was in teh breeder box for roughly an hour. Hantu checked him out several times in the box and they both did that strange clown fish waggle dance, introducing Puaka

Nice build, personally I love that tank and have had mines running for a few years now

20200204_223119.jpg

Thanks, I love it. Picked it up second hand for £80, needed a huge amount of cleaning but scrubbed up nice. A lot easier than my Pico's, pretty much on autopilot until office works are complete then can think about corals again

I also picked up this tank second hand from a fellow club member. I've mod'd the heck out mind as you can see from my build thread

Yeah, the person who had it before me did a few mods, removed the hood, removed the power strip. I just upgraded the return pump, sealed the second hole, added a couple of wavemakers and a Kessil A360WE TUna Blue and done. Not bad for a reef tank at work.

I think for my main reef tank at home (long way off) I'll be going for a Juwel Lido 200, second hand again. I can usually pick one up for around £100-£150, again need to spend a couple weeks/months cleaning it up

These two are taunting me, they know the fish trap is for them so they can live in the Pico.

So as you maybe able to tell, my work day is rather slow. So I decided I would photograph my fish.

Tailspot Blenny - Cujo
Cujo.jpg

I actually got this guy free, as he was extremely skinny when i first got him. He spent a couple months in my back chambers eating, pods and pineapple sponges, now has a right belly on him.

Hantu (Clown) and Pen (Blue Star Leopard Wrasse)
Hantu & Pen.jpg

I actually ordered a Tanaka Possum Wrasse but got this beautiful Leopard Wrasse instead, no complaints from me. In fact I kept very very quiet.

Kunti - Yellow Coris Wrasse
Kunti.jpg

This fish is a spazz, I have caught her several times in bottle traps and snail traps but never the snails I am trying to catch. She also swims on the surface and splashes water out of the tank. Fun but a pain in the neck. Also the bane of my Clean up Crew.

One of my Red Headed Goby pair, I purchased a Yuma Mushroom rock a while ago, two of these were in my tank once I had added it. Trying to catch to go into the Rockwall Pico

Pele - my favourite fish!

Everyone (except the Blenny and Gobies) in one shot

Wrasse fly-by of the Clowns.

Does anyone else's Wrasse's swim together?

So I finally managed to break into the office this morning (via snow covered skylight), alarms tell me that power went off to the office late on Friday night. Rushed up to the tank and found the temperature to be at 14C (58F). I have managed to turn the power on and get the heater and pumps working, Things not looking too good at the moment. Hoping the other fish com out a bit later
