Once i got the tank home, I realized that the color wasn't as white as it appeared at the LFS. So, I spent an afternoon sanding and prepping for paint. Sanding and some tack cloth action later i was ready for paint.

I didn't have the intention of sharing this with the world so I don't have much to share of this stage of the build

First of several deliveries from BRS. I bought the 48" 4 bulb ATI T5-LED Hybrid with Wifi. I got this on the house wifi so it is accessible from my home network. Shout out to Keith@ATI for the instructions for this. I really like this fixture so far. Is it overkill..perhaps, but i like it.

Beginnings of my mixing station. I plumbed my RODI unit up in my mechanical room in the basement and i wasn't going to haul buckets from my basement so i changed the design up a bit to give me a valved output i could hook a hose up to and pump salty water up to my tank. Sure the head loss is high but i'm not carrying buckets. That pleases me greatly.

Finished product. Note the addition of the barbed fitting. I use this to pump the water upstairs to my DT. I also plumbed the RODI into the house supply and used a shutoff valve with a float in the storage vessel because i forget things.

I used a food safe hose i found on amazon and built a filling hook contraption

Nice! It looks like you have a lot of potential with this tank!

Thank you. Yep i can't wait to start adding coral. I was looking at something smaller initially but one of my buddies was steering me to something larger and I'm glad i listened.
