First salt tank, HelloReef 15 Gallon

Hey all, sorry it took me a minute to put this together. I started this tank in February 2025. It’s my very first saltwater tank. I will try to add to it as I can. It’s a 15 gallon all in one tank by HelloReef. This tank is made for a clown fishing at an enemies, but I wanted a variety of coral and another fish so I decided to go my own route. I’ve definitely learned a lot, had some ups and downs, and do wish I would’ve started with at least a 30 gallon. But I’m hanging in there. Please feel free to ask me any questions.

I grow massive bristle worms, and I don’t like it!

what is the black box in the corner?
and what is it for?

I also have a 15g and I’m learning as much as I can before I feel comfortable to jump to a bigger tank.

That is a copepod hotel. It’s a place where copepods can breed without being eaten by fish and inverts. A lot of people don’t put them in nano tanks because of how big they are, but I didn’t mind putting one in mine and it has helped keep population up extremely.
