Hey everyone!
So this is my 55 gallon mixed reef, its coming up on about 6 months old now. and it has completely taken over my life right now haha. im completely obsessed.
Tank:
55G Aqueon
Equipment:
Cascade 700 canister filter
Fluval PS1 skimmer (definitely needs upgraded though, it honestly doesnt help much i think)
Jager heater
One 600gph aqueon circulation fan (temporary until i upgrade to a gyre wavemaker)
One 60g air pump with two air stones(forget the brand off the top of my head)
Lighting: aquaticlife 48" t5HO fixture, 2 channels and 6 super bright leds on it for after dusk, 4x54w t5s(ati bulbs)
Livestock-
Fish:
Blood orange clown
bi-color chromis
blue/green chromis
sailfin tang
Fish that didnt make it so far:
1 Pink speckled watchman goby(jumped from the tank)
1 bi-color chromis (wandered to close to the long tentacle nem)
1 royal gramma (also wandered to close to a carpet nem)
Shrimp/crustaceans:
1 Red Japanese pistol shrimp
i will get a list together for my CUC, its a little lacking right now. i need to invest in some more
inverts:
long tentacle anemone
inverts that didnt make it:
green carpet anemone(got sucked into filter inlet, got him out of it and he started to disintegrate away about 7-10 days later)
Corals:
gsp
zoas
palys
clove polyps
Micronesian torch
kryptonite candy cane
acan enchi.
pulsing xenia
duncans
toadstool leathers
a blasto?
some mushrooms
Corals lost:
None (knock on wood)
