hello everyone, getting into the reefing community and got my first tank. Red Sea Reefer 350 G2+

Loving it so far and have started to cycle the tank. Let me know what you think!

Looking good so far. Did you pick that 350 up new? I have a 170 and I’m itching to upgrade to the 350. Love the scape. Good luck with the build. Have fun!

I did pick it up new. Hoping I’m doing things right so far. I started another thread with some questions
Don’t worry. The mistakes will come…lol. Just take things slooooww. Nothing good happens quickly in this hobby. And this forum is full of the most knowledgeable reefers around….you’re off to a good start just being here.

I just checked all the parameters, ammonia, nitrates, and nitrites are all zero currently
How did you cycle your tank? You should have detectable nitrates if you cycled properly. BTW I love your aquascape!

Here's what I've picked up in last 15 years of this hobby. Patience is everything, take your time. All tanks go through an ugly stage too, don't let it discourage you. With light schedules and water parameters, consistency is key. don't keep changing everything, let it be. All tanks are different, what works for one person might not work for the next.
Your aqua scape looks great too.
