I just got a new seahorse and first time owning one. Had a question of its behavior, do they normally latch on to a branch and just lay sideways and upside down sometimes? He does swim around and move but he also latches on alot too. Just curious

I ran a seahorse tank for nearly five years. They are not the most active fish and will latch on to something and hang out. What I use to like is watching them late at night. They would swim across the tank. You should give your seahorse a friend. They will latch on to each other. People told me that is them fighting; others told that is them playing.

I need to get me another seahorse tank. Be careful what tank mates you put in the tank. I am pretty sure a chalk bass killed my four seahorses.
