Does putting a bucket of water with 1.025 salinity in my reef tank with the same numbers increases my tank salinity or it maintains the same?

Regarding your question, the salinity stays the same, but keep in mind that if you have an ATO system and you don’t adjust it to the new water level, the salinity will increase
