Tank has been running for a couple months now, added a clown and puffer about 10 days ago, wondering when should I do any water changes etc

If your tank is cycled, then it’s time for regular water changes! Welcome to reefing!
How often is up to you. I do about 15% weekly, some do more, some do less. Just don’t do so many that your nitrates and phosphates bottom out. Your livestock needs those nutrients.
