Fish Choking

My Blenny is a pig and went for a piece of shrimp too big for him. It is sticking out of his right gill and it looks like he is gasping through his mouth. Anything I can do?

Has he gotten it out yet? I don’t know how you would go about getting it out without hurting his gills. Hmm...

Yup happens in the wild alot. Most of the time it's because the prey engaged their dorsal spine up and got wedged in the mouth.
If he still has it stuck, if you can catch him, wear rubber gloves and grab some tweeezers to pull it out. If you need small enough ones I think you can go to the beauty section of the store and use those. Unless you work in an ER where those are plentiful.

Hahaha! My mom makes an incredible carrot cake almost every year for thanksgiving or Christmas. I always make sure to leave just enough room for a slice :D.

Nope I don’t and then I eat a few pieces of pie and end up in the same situation. I just don’t learn :D
