Fish compatibity with current stocking for potential future tank

Heyo, just returning to this thread. Tank might happen sooner than expected(still a few months at least) but I’ve decided to go smaller with a 60 gallon Waterbox Marine X 90.3. More limited here but I have considered adding(alongside my current three):
2 yellow assessors
Lawnmower(or starry) blenny or Midas blenny
Pintail, or Lubbocks wrasse
Something else idk

Or I just go with a school of 5 more springeri damselfish.

Are there any more potentially interesting options for this size tank?
I would be careful with the assessor's, if it isn't a male female pair they will kill each other, also worth noting that springeri damselfish wont school in captivity, they might occasionally chase each other around but as long as the rockwork has caves they wont kill each other

Noted. Pairs do tend to be more territorial than not in general spose.

How about a fangblenny? I had an eyelash fangblenny in my 55, he was a nice fish. I also like the look of the lined fangblennies and there's a couple more species.
I feel I would run into aggression issues with this addition, too similar in shape and body length to other potential additions

I keep a yellow tang and two spot bristle tooth tang in a 4ft 100g the were in a 36" tank for almost 3 years and did great. they are much more active in the 100g because its a peninsula so they have two long swim lanes now but they spend most of their time cleaning.

I would be so bummed to have to rehome them.

Those are some healthy fish!

Can you come over and fatten up my yellows like that :)

I don't think mine are skinny, but they are compared to this beast.
That's one of my wild caught yellows. My biota aren't skinny but I think the my wild two are thicker. It's probably my imagination but I think the shape of my wilds are a little different than my biotas also. The beak on the biotas looks a bit longer with a slight downward tilt. Probably something I wouldn't notice if I didn't see them both everyday.

I'm not a fan of having to re-home pets, I get too attached.

PS I do have a 7ft 330 so when I try something like keeping 2 tangs in a smaller tank than recommended I can move them if it doesn't work out. It always good to have an alternate plan.

I agree completely. I’ve had to rehome fish a few times due to aggression. It sucks because regardless of the outcome they’re just following their nature. You also never know who the fish is going to afterwards, could be someone who will take better care then me, might go to someone putting it into a smaller tank with far worse water quality. Makes me sad to think where those fish could be now.

This is the gospel truth. I had a bad actor foxface I took to an LFS. They rehomed him, next time I came in and asked, apparently he was dead in 1 dang day in his new home. Made wifey and I very sad.

He’ll that makes me sad hearing about it

I found an insane deal for a brand new Waterbox marine x 90.3 5 miles from me for about 76% reduced cost. Couldn’t pass up the opportunity. Picking it up tomorrow!
