Fish hiding spots in frag tank

I’m having trouble with hiding spots for the fish in my frag tank. It has egg crate shelves which they hide under and pvc elbows which they do not use. I was hoping to find some premade rock structures/caves for them but no luck so far. Any ideas? I’m looking at things that can fit next to the overflow box and not take up a ton of space or impede flow.

Are the elbows to small (not enough diameter) for the fish to take shelter... or possibly they are still too skittish to use them? Sometimes it takes a few days for them to warm up to white plastic elbows. Can you add a photo or two to your post?

I have 3” and 2” grey pvc elbows. I even bought fake worm tubes. They all have been in there for probably 2 months now.

Looks very impressive. Maybe in the end, the frag racks just give the fish a better sense of comfort than the pipes.

Yea all the frag systems I’ve seen, they will choose underneath the racks rather than any other hiding spot.

They will even rotate their body so that they are flat against the glass underneath the racks like they are squished.
