I'm bummed out. I was feeding the fish this morning and spooked Larry, the tailspot Blenny. He jumped out hit the wall and fell behind the tank. He was out for 3-5 mins while I found supplies to get him. He was covered in hair and not very responsive at first. I got him in the tank, kept flow going over him and he eventually came to and got over to his hole. He's got some skin discoloration and he's not swimming 100%. It looks like he's not as flexible.

Could that be a spinal injury? He looks a little swollen too. Anyone ever had a fish make a full recovery?

From an actual spinal injury, no I don't think they can recover. Hopefully that's not what it is. There's not much you can do at this point. Good luck.

I believe the symptoms match the suspected injury. Not sure on potential recovery.

When to mix up fish meal: When was the last time you tried a different brand of food for your reef?
