Fish only tank parameters ?

Hello you all.

I’m starting a new project of a fish only tank and I’d love to know which parameters do you consider I should pay attention to and which could I forget about since I’m not keeping corals nor inverts likely in that tank.

I would say nitrate if anything, just to make sure the water doesn't turn into poison for the fish. But IMO no need really, I don't test on my fish only tanks.
