Fish poo

I have had 3 tangs in a tank for 4years and have seen then poop. It hits the sand bed but in a day it is gone. I move them to a 180gal zeovit system tank 2 months ago. Now I have fish poo all over the sand bed and it is there for days till I vacuum it out. Why is that. Please help me understand what is going on.

Did you have a pretty well established sand bed in the old tank? the pods and worms in mine take pretty good care of anything that hits the sand.

Yes the 180 is just a couple months old

I transfer and seed my sand bed with the worms best I can. seems to work.

This tank is on zeovit so I can not do that.

hmmm. did not know that. any Idea why? seems like a fairly benign organism.
