Fish to start with

So looking at cycling my tank here soon and adding my first fish now the question I have is starting with a pair of black lightning long fins and three cardinal fish tomuch in a 120 gallon to start.

Are you thinking of Bangaii cardinals or pajamas? The reason I ask is that Bangaiis, once they are adults and unless a mated pair, will kill each other until only one remains. Pajamas will do fine in a group.

Otherwise, AFTER the tank has completed cycling, and if the fish are on the smaller size I think adding 5 fish in a 120 would be fine.
