Fishes for a 30g tank

Hello there, guys!
I am thinking about what fishes I should add into my tank (I do like to think about it with a lot of time).
In this moment I am keeping two clowns, and I would like to know you opinions about other fishes to keep with them. I am looking for peaceful, reef/invert safe. Corals will mostly softies and some lps.
I was thinking about adding a yasha gobie, and a firefish. In a year or so, I would like to add a mandarine fish. So, do you have any ideas? is it quite stocked with those fishes I told you? Not?
I would like to add a wrasse or something like that. Im open for suggestions, thank you in advance!

Thats fine just don't add anymore fish after you add the mandarin. If you're looking for suggestions besides firefish and yasha goby black cap basslets are interesting and add a nice pop of purple in the tank

Most wrasses IMO wouldn't be happy in a 30 besides a sixline, fourline, or eightline wrasse maybe. The downside is they'll probably be territorial so. Edit: Pink streaked line wrasse is fine in a 20 or above and is peaceful

The only wrasses compatible with that size tank would be a Pink streaked wrasse or a possum wrasse. A mandarin in that size tank is not a good idea...however if you do attempt it do not put either of the above wrasses or any other fish that eats pods. I hate it but I can't keep a mandarin in my 6 foot tank due to the pod eating competition of the wrasses I have.

If you were to add another fish maybe consider getting rid of the yasha or firefish goby off your list to accommodate for it as then it would be 6 fish for a 30 gal aka overstocked IMO.

Are those wrasses swimmers? I mean, Clowns are mostly in a corner, I want the yasha goby to pair with a pistol shrimp, and they will be in the sand. I do like to think about different colors and the part of the tank they are occupating. I already have orange, black and white with clowns, red and white with yasha, so I think the basslet is a great addition because he is purple, but how does he behave? And the wrasse? Maybe I could take the firefish out, I already have his colors and he doesnt move much. What do you think? Its fine I couldn't even tell English wasn't your first language lol. Anyways I have a basslet and he is super timid, not aggressive at all, may become aggressive if first introduced though. IMO I don't count pistol shrimp in the fish count so thats fine, the wrasse is also peaceful

Also make sure you don't have any frag plugs on the sand when you get a pistol shrimp or else they will be used as a door :p The firefish is super peaceful and only aggressive towards his own species but it all depends on what your preference is

I agree with the wrasse then the basslet. Between the two basslets its just your personal opinion on which one you like better, but IME royal grammas have been more aggressive. The sand thing depends on the coral, if you got mini colonies it wouldn't be a problem, what kind of lights do you have?

And what do you think about the yasha goby? As long as I add him before the basslet is okay, isnt it?

No problem :) the black cap basslet will be fine royal gramma was aggressive in my 30 even though he was the last added :rolleyes: I wanted to know the lights to see how strong it was, it seems pretty good so when you get new corals put them in the spot you want and then lower the intensity of your light and increase over the weeks. Search up light acclimation to see what I mean

Good advice already. I have a 32g. My royal gramma is aggressive though he’s never actually hurt anyone. He really seems to dislike my Midas blenny but they’ve been in there together for 4 months. I have 5 fish. I’d like one more though I know that’s pushing it in my tank. Here are some other fish that haven’t been mentioned:

I have another question aswell. I would like to put my lights to work, and I was thinking... how should I program them? I usually arrive hom at 18:00/19:00, so I was thinking in this schedule:
(The first and second porcentages are blue lights and the third one is the white light)
02:01-16:00 10% 10% 0%
16:01-17:00 50% 50% 0%
17:01-19:00 75% 75% 40%
19:01-22:00 100% 100% 50%
22:01-24:00 75% 75% 40%

Maybe. They have little mouths and may eat tiny shrimp but are the least risky of the hawks due to their mouth shape.
