The return pump has been running for 5 hours now. No leaks so far. I have the return pump set to the lowest flow and it's turning over a lot. I'm getting ready to turn off the return pump for the night. I'll turn it back on tomorrow morning.

Goodnight everyone!
Wonderful news.

Happy to hear the "test run" went well.

I'm emptying the tap water from the sump and tank. I'll move it to the wall and hopefully it will not need to be leveled again.

Thank you everyone!

I placed 4 carpet gliders on the stand legs and moved the tank/stand to its final resting place. I didn't hurt myself lol. I'm going to let the setup settle for 24 hours before releveling the stand since it's on carpet. Releveling will require two people since I can't lift the stand/tank and twist the adjustable feet by myself at the same time.

Thank you again 😘

I had placed my Wrasses a week ago in a 32g Brute can with sand and filter. I just moved the Wrasses to a 40b that just freed up. The Brute can smells like low tide on a hot summer day. What can I use to get rid of the smell? I tried plain water and rubbed it well before rinsing but didn't work. I want to be able to use the can for mixing saltwater.

I got the tank leveled yesterday. Took two days to do that by myself. My thigh muscles are so sore. I'm a female who weighs 110 pounds...pickling up the corners of a stand with a 150g tank on it with no help. 🤪. The tank is on carpet to boot. I hope when I add sand and water it stays level. I also spent 3 hours rinsing 120 pounds of sand yesterday.

Thank you for asking!

Add water slowly and keep checking level. Do the adjustable legs have a fitting on them for an open end wrench? If so I’d fill it to a 1/4 full. Check level, make minor adjustments and then fill completely.

I have no idea what an open ended wrench is. There’s a nut on the bottom.

Those legs are designed so that you can use a wrench to turn the screw to raise or lower the leg so that you don't have to lift the tank to raise or lower it.

OH! That would have been good to know that's what to use. But with the carpet and not lifting it up some, the carpet may not let it adj with the wrench. Well I hope I don't need to find out.

Learned something new. Didn't know that was called an open wrench. 👍
