I was lured in by low prices, however, you get what you pay for.

A file fish was DOA which they gave me an in store credit for. There were other deaths but the policy on deaths is so strict. I was outside of the 2 hour window to send a video and picture on white paper for credit.

Save your money and go to liveaquaria or buy local.

Here’s a pic of fish that died. No refund. I sent the request in the third hour and was denied.

OK, let's be fair here... you got an accidental $53.16 coupon because of a web issue (that coupon was 20% on WYSIWYG, which you bought none of, but still got 20% off your entire order) - we didn't ask for that back despite reserving the right to do so in our terms & conditions when there are mistakes.

Yes, our prices are less expensive because not everyone wants to buy warranties. In most cases, our prices are still less expensive when you buy a 7-day warranty. Your ordered TWENTY livestock items with only the DOA guarantee, no extended warranties on anything. We have a sheet included in ALL of our boxes with instructions on how to handle DOAs - you had two hours.

Three hours after the package was delivered, you sent us a video of ONE item - an aiptasia eating filefish DOA in the bag. We said we would accept it despite it being late, but we also needed a video of the fish out of the water and on a white surface.

An hour later, you then provided a photo (NOT a video) of the Aiptasia Eating Filefish and we gave you a store credit for that fish. In that email you also sent a video of a 2nd fish in a bag that was still ALIVE (Pearly Jawfish) with no text or commentary. Then you send us a 3rd email with a dead emerald crab - no text or commentary. We are now 4 hours after your package was delivered.

We replied and said that the 2nd fish was alive in the video - I'm not trying to be rude, but DOA doesn't mean "breathing hard and it may die" and as for the emerald crab, we didn't get any video at all.

As for the photo above, you never even sent us that one! I'm assuming that is the Sea Hare...

I reported fairly as to what happened. I did send you a video. Here is your reply:
See photo.

It’s odd how your website pops up a coupon and I click on it, yet it’s MY fault? A 20% off coupon is not unheard in this market.

All I’m saying is, I will never order anything from your company again based on the uber strict DOA policy.

I’m also reporting on the quality of your livestock. 4 deaths within 3-4 hours of receiving the package! I have been in this hobby for 20 years. I’ve NEVER written a bad review on a vendor. Please take note.
