So I just had a yellow coris wrasse that I've had for just about 2 years disappear on me. I was certain he either jumped out of the tank or maybe died on a weekend when I was gone because I never saw any remains. Well 2 weeks later which was last night I come home from work and there he is swimming around like nothing is wrong. Belly was not sunken or anything. Couldn't tell you where he's been for 2 weeks. I've had other wrasses living on a reverse schedule when they first came because they were not used to the day/night schedule but that couldn't be the case here.

Anyone else have this kind of experience?

Who knows. I might go three months without ever seeing my Watchman Goby. Then, out of the blue, he reappears. They do have a mind of their own. With the wrasses, sometimes I wonder if they get stuck in their rock house.
