Hello All,

I am about to create an oil painting of a Flame Hawk for a local art show, I'm an artist and oil painter. https://www.artstation.com/studiospectre
I much prefer to use my own or community people's imagery as references, and never use copyrighted work as an exclusive reference. I very much prefer a hobbyist photo, or my own to anything on google.

Long story short, I have a flame hawk myself and I could use my own reference but I'm not nearly as good at photography as most of you.
If you have any really cute images of a flame hawk, and If you would be interested in sharing your image for use as a reference in return for a free matted and backed 16X20 limited print (or similar) mailed to you. These go for $60 plus shipping.

PLEASE LET ME KNOW!!

Legal fine print.
terms would be granting me a one time non-exclusive license to use the photo to create a derivative work from.
The derivative work(s) would be an original oil painting created by me, and any and all subsequent prints derived thereof. I don't typically do shirts or stickers but anything from the painting would be 100% copyright of me.

The photo will remain 100% your copyright, and since this is non-exclusive you can reproduce, license, and allow derivative works via it, it's yours forever.

This is very generous of you and a great opportunity for someone!
Also, offer stands for other fish too, let me know if you have a favorite. I can't give away the original but I'm happy to trade for a print. Originals are also for sale, but I think it's a blessing to be able to collaborate with a hobbyist, and of course respect photographers copyright in a world where that's extinct.
