Flame Hawk

I guess I will start with the parameters.
1.025 salinity
8.2 PH.
9.5 DKH
78 degrees
Nitrate and Nitrite at 0
Phosphate at .05 to .01
Calcium is at 420.
dosing a 2 part Seachem.

back story is I bought this tank complete (65 gallon plus 20 gallon sump) about 6 months ago. Was established for 10+ years. Not sure how old the fish are. Hawkfish has been losing color but eats like crazy. Mysis and Brine. Feed that 2 times per day, 2 clowns eat also. I also feed the Hawkfish flake with Vita Chem. The 2 clowns never attack the hawk fish. They basically split the tank in half.

Whats the question? This isn’t a flame hawk. It’s a lyretail hawk. They can darken or lighten depending on their mood. It’s likely fine.

In the absence of any other symptoms, I don't think there is any disease that would cause only paleness. Red fish often fade in captivity, but this one is a long term captive, so if it is fading now, something has changed, most likely diet. Can you ask the previous owner what they fed it? There are some foods that contain red-enhancing carotenoids.
