Does having a significant amount more flo In a display tank than the qt tank matter? Will it bother the fish to go from a 425 Gph powerhead to a gyre? Granted the Display is exactly double the size of the quarantine.

I have very little flow in my QT (small hang on back) and lots of flow in my display. If anything, my fish fare better once they move to then display. Dont worry about it.

You can use an acclimation box in a low flow area for a day or so if you’d like.

Add more flow to the QT .... can help with feeding too.

  • Not at all. Feeding demands don’t limit my stocking choices
