I read on BRS (where I purchased it from) that you can turn your skimmer on during after 72 hours but leave everything else off for 10-14 days.

Advice I have had here conflicts that. I’m told skimmers off for 2-3 weeks. But can be turned on with the cup off to oxygenate the water. Some say yes on GFO and it’s said no carbon or phos remover for 72 hours. If I put carbon in (I’m on day 6) it will remove what is in the water I thought.

The bryopsis is dead and now I am waiting for the GHA to be impacted. I don’t want to short cut this as I really want to impact the GHA as much as possible.

Thoughts?

Also, do a lot of people do a second dose 3/4 through?

I experimented with this when I was treating my display around a year ago (very long battle, at least 6 different treatments).

On the last several treatments, I just left the skimmer running. Seemed to have no ill-effects. I just turned off UV and my carbon reactor.
