I’m finding mixed dosages on fluconazole treatments for algae. I have fish flux rx which has the same dosage amount as regular flux rx but instead of dosing once it says to dose 5 consecutive days at roughly 20mg. Not sure what I should do here. Any help would be appreciated.

I have the 200mg capsules. I am doing a low dose of 20mg per 10 gallon approach because I have SPS. I dose only once and plan about 3 weeks of no water changes.

Also remove carbon, shutdown protein skimmer and GFO reactors. I will turn on the protein skimmer on day 4. No issues so far and some bryopsis I am dealing with have been graying out. Once the three weeks are done, I will perform a 20% water change and add carbon back and enable GFO reactor to reduce phosphates.

What kind of algae ?.
Did you have any hair algae or just bryopsis ?
Both and bubble algae. Can’t do anything about bubble algae. My emeralds and pithos do not seem to be interested and I have to hand feed it to my fox face to eat lol.

No need to remove GFO sense it only absorbs po4!!!!

Zero is the best dose. Manual removal and proper herbivore stocking. Done.
