1 week into getting this Blue Throat Trigger. Seemed healthy and eats a lot in shop, so I brought him. Now, he is active and eats a lotttt, but rubs himself on rocks and shake sideways. Also, some white spots on his body appeared.

I am no expert, but it appears to be ick. Did you do a slow acclimation? I have been told that if the temperature of the water changes more than 2-3 degrees in less than 20 minutes, they will get ick. The rubbing on the rocks is a telltale sign. Also, remember ick is a cycle. It goes from fish to sand bed and then reappears on the fish, there for, make sure you follow the directions for the medication you chose. This is my opinion, I may be wrong. Good luck!

I’m not an expert but sounds like ich, do you have a QT tank? If you do a FW dip and you see little seed like things drop off then it’s flukes. Either way there is a very good chance all of your fish will need to be treated.

At the very least, that's ich ... and possibly velvet. Fortunately, the treatment for both can be accomplished by setting up that QT and moving all of your fish to it, and ramping up copper (@HotRocks, do you know how triggers are with CP?) or Chloroquine Phosphate, if triggerfish will tolerate that medicine. (CP - Chloroquine Phosphate - would not need to be "ramped up" it can all be dosed at one time.)

Your display tank will want to remain "fallow" - without fish - for 76 days to ensure eradication of both velvet and ich.
