Hello all! I have had my tank running for about 3 months now..live rock, sand a couple of clownfish. Things are going well, just wondering if anyone has some input on the light settings. I want to keep it simple and use the auto mode...what are your spectrum percentages for each color... ? I want to add some soft corals in the future...thanks in advance..

This light has the correct colour spectrum, but lacks in intensity that would be required for anything except softies. The specs list wattage as 42, whereas I would expect for this size tank It should be in the 150-200 watt area.

Anything in the 8 -12 hours photoperiod is fine, on the low end if your tank is new and on the high end if the tank is mature 12 months plus.

Focus intensity in the UV violet and Blues, add just a tad of red/green, use white as much or less as you want your tank to look.

The trick to light is to “set and forget” over time, the corals will adapt to the light.
What they totally hate is any change in light.

My DT with 100% blue/violet, 1% red/green/white.
