Fluval ps1 skimmer

Good evening everyone! I’ve decided to turn on my fluval ps1 protein skimmer again and I was wondering if anyone had any suggestions on where to set the level of the collection cup and how much air is coming through. It’s on my flex 32.5

still no help on this?? I've seen a few people say once you get it dialed in it works really well but then they disappear when asked what they did to dial it in. So frustrating

I could never get it to run right, i just leave mine in the rear chamber unplugged

Sometimes a picture or a short 10 second video really helps, sometimes its just hard to visualize or explain in words. Honestly, you just need to turn it on and it should work, its a plug and play. Thats why its hard to offer you help, but if we can see what you see it will help us.

This is not the best skimmer, but you should still be getting some greenish liquid in the collection cup, are you not?

It’s just difficult for someone new to all this to know where the stupid rubber band needs to be and where the cup needs to sit and how much to adjust the air valve. It would be nice if someone had one running efficiently that they could show where the bubbles should be hitting in the bottom of the cup and what it looks like when the air is dialed in correctly in relation to how high or low the cup sits.
