@vetteguy53081, What are your thoughts on lighting during Flux Rx treatment. I have seen suggestions that light is needed for absorption of the fluconazol, and I have seen the opposite that suggests that lights inhibit effectiveness.

Since I do not yet have coral established, I have options to go lights off (or at least no white spectrum as stated in the above plan, or I could treat with lights on to foster photosynthesis during treatment. Thoughts?

If using flux, moderate to low light. I again dont favor flux but hope it helps you

Thanks, I am trying both physical removal to the best of my ability and then Flux Rx hopefully to get anything I missed. Since it was pervasive primarily in the sand, I quickly realized that it is nearly impossible to get it all out. Every time I thought I got it all, I would notice a bit more. So, I figure giving the Flux Rx a try prior to resorting to siphoning out all of my sand bed seems worth a shot, especially as I don’t have corals to harm.
