Foam?

Just finished my stand build with 2x4s. I have 1/2 piece of plywood on top. I see some gaps, not too much but a bit of light.

Should I put 1/2 piece of foam under the tank?

I always do to even out any imperfections

If the tank has trim- no

If the tank is acrylic with no trim- yes

Does it hurt to put foam if it does have bottom trim only?
