nothing in particular. age mainly. took over 5 years to develop orange and just recently last year developed purple after 7 years.

Cool, thanks. Mine is 1.5 years old and about 2 inches wide. Lots of red speckles and about a 1/5 of it is green. Hoping for some purps!!!
