Hey guys, I never realized I didn't make a tank thread when I first joined this forum a couple years ago, I've recently been on the forum more often so I want to share my tank.
Let me start with the fact that I have been in the reef hobby for approximately 15 years now, I've gone through 3 main tank, a 29g, a 75g and a 210g. Currently I have a 150g cube and I plan on upgrading to a 300g Marineland DD very soon.
This particular system has been running since December 2013 so almost 7 years. It has had a lot of ups and downs but it also has evolved a whole lot over time. Here's a brief description of my system.
My equipment list is as follows:
- Lighting: 3x Pacific Sun 160w Black Python
- Filtration: SWC 300 skimmer (2 sicce pumps), Aquamaxx Biomaxx XL reactor, Aquamaxx FR-SE GAC Reactor, 60g homemade sump, 30g remote fuge, 30g remote mixing station
- Dosing: MTC Procal Calcium reactor
- Control: Apex controller
- CIrculation: Maxspect Gyre 150, Jebao RW8, Hammerhead Gold Return with giant homemade manifold
As of today my fish list consists of:
- Purple tang
- Yellow tang x2
- Chevron tang
- Desjardini Sailfin tang
- Bristletooth Tomini tang
- Double Bar rabbitfish
- Pink Tail triggerfish
- Pink Skunk clownfish pair
- Melanurus wrasse
- Coral Beauty angel
- Marine Betta grouper
- Talbot's damsel
Misc.: Cleaner shrimp x2, conch, Coral Banded shrimp, Sally Lightfoot crab
Corals are mixed softies, LPS, SPS. I don't discriminate lol
