I finally have a room for my plants and fish I was planning on making a semicircle pond/tank at the base of the wall made out of the same stone the wall was built out of. Ill use pond liner maybe?
But i also have (3) 4x8’ sheets of acrylic my brother saved from a demolition job over a decade ago. They were part of a see through floor in a mall store. Maybe it is a waste to use it this way but i was thinking about using one as the base and the other's to form 2’ sides. Probably only 2 sides of the tank will be viewable most of the time.
I have a crawl space under the room with enough space to crawl in and add some supports for the weight. I will have approximately 3’ of space and 10’ of distance to reach the ceiling of the basement adjacent to the crawl space (where the filters will be).
