Very surprised this morning when I found a watchman goby I thought I had lost 1-2 months ago. I was so confused about what I was looking at, I didn't even remember I had lost it.

Happy he made it, he already came out to eat this morning when I fed. I do wonder where he's been living, I checked the overflow originally when he went MIA, but maybe in the drain area in the sump prior to the socks?

Glad I had those silencers in place.

Happy for you. Wonder how he ate all that time.

Much of the stuff that plugs the socks is a source of food. It's one of the reasons I let my socks overflow before changing them.

Cool find on the goby OP

That's interesting, would that not raise nutrient to undesirable levels? Thank you!
I suppose it could depending on the tank size how bio load. Many people do not even run mechanical filtration. My corals really perk up with the extra food in the water. I have a fleece roller on my acro tank and shut it down several nights a week.
