anyone make there own

i made a mold just havent tryed to make any, yet

didnt know if there was any tricks

I'm making some this weekend. I plan to use a box of sand, use a lid to a jar to make the mold in the sand, then just poor in the argocrete. This will be for frag discs. To make the plugs i think i'll use a baby bottle nipple and press it into the sand in the middle of the disc mold to create the peg that goes thru the eggcrate.

I'll take lots of pics :D

I have been wanting to do this for some time now does anyone have a good link with the mix ratio?

I plan to use 2 parts cement, 1 part sand, 1 part water. I'll probably try a few different ratios. I plan to make roughly 20-30 discs/plugs.

Wow yours turned out good. I have pics, forgot to put em up. I'll get mine up later today. I used sand and made some square discs. Turned out ok, the first batch was way to runny.

i am goign to program the size a little different on the cnc to be more like the B.A.F.

MAYBE RUN THE DISKS ALSO:toothy3:

Ok here was my first attempt. The sand was too wet to make a decent mold, but i went with it anyway.

Cool! How long are you going to let them cure and what method are you going to use?

I dug out how i wanted to top of this rock to look. I'm making sort of a tall table type rock, so i am making it upside down at this point.

Then some salt to make it porous

Well i'm gonna stick them in a bucket out in my backyard. Its still going to rain a lot next month i'm sure. I'll just let the rain refill it. If it doesn't rain, i'll probably just put em in the toilet tank ;)
